Setup Instructions for Netscape Communicator 4.7 With an Existing Profile

1.  Open up the Netscape Use Profile Manager.  It can be found under the "Utilities" group in your "Netscape Communicator" group.  An example is shown below.

2.  You will now be presented with a screen shown below.  Please click the "New..." button to continue.

3.  You should now have a screen similar to the one below.  Please click on the "Next" button to continue.

4.  You will now have a screen similar to the one below.  For the box labeled "Full Name" please enter in the name that you want people to see with your emails.  For the box labeled "Email Address (if available):" put in your email address.  Your email address should be in the form of username@mminternet.com.  Please click the "Next >" button when your done.

5.  It is not necessary to change anything with this window.  If you know what the options do then you can change them but it is not necessary.  Please click on the "Next >" button to continue.

6.  You are now presented with a "Set up your Outgoing Mail Server" window.  Please enter mail.mminternet.com in the "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:" box.  After that your window should look exactly like the one below.  Press the "Next >" button to continue.

8.  You should now have a window similar to the one below.  For the "Mail server user name:" box enter in your username.  For the "Incoming Mail Server:" box enter in mail.mminternet.com.  Make sure that "POP3" is selected under "Mail Server type:."  Press the "Next >" button to continue after your done.

9.  You will now have a window similar to the one below.  Enter in news.mminternet.com in the "News (NNTP) server:" box.  After that your screen should look exactly like the one below.

10.  Congratulations.  You have finished setting up your new profile.  Click the "Finish" button to finish.
