The DSL Signup Process
We want you to have a clear idea of how your DSL signup is going to
go. To help you understand what's going to happen, we've outlined the
install process here. During your setup process, you'll be able to check
your progress online at our online
order status page.
- Signup
Timeframe: 10-30 minutes
First, you'll need to sign up with us to begin the process. You
can do this completely online using our online
signup.
- Qualification
Timeframe: 1-3 days
Second, we'll try and qualify you for the service you want. You
may or may not qualify. DSL is only available in certain areas, and
higher speeds are available in fewer areas than lower speeds. If you don't qualify, we'll let you know. You may not qualify
for the service you want, but if you qualify for a lower speed we'll
let you know and you can decide what to do.
- Installation
Timeframe: 7-14 days
Finally, if you qualify, Verizon will send you your modem via
UPS Ground Mail. MM Internet will also send you setup instructions to configure
your DSL line to work with us. Once you install the modem and follow
our setup instructions, you'll be up and running!
Almost all problems that occur happen during the first few days after
installation and setup. Since it's a complicated and new technology,
it's easy for a lot of things to go wrong. We almost always get things
working within a week or two though, so we encourage you to be patient
during your installation process. If you encounter any problems, please
email us at info@mminternet.com,
or call us at 562-427-0344 to make us aware that you're having problems.
